Your Work for Review:
All submissions to the Litribune Editors should be emailed as attatchments to submissions@thelitribune.com
Our editors prefer (2) hard copies mailed to:
The Litribune, 2861 Bluewater Lane, Grandville, Mi 49418
Subject Line: (#, Genre) Submissions- (#) pages
Email Body:
Please introduce yourself with your name, basic small talk stuff, and how you heard about us.
Also, introduce us to the work you’re sending. Tell us what genre you’re writing in and whatever you feel you might want to preface your work with.
Guidelines:
Poetry
While there are no strict length requirements, the poetry editors prefer to read at least three (maximum: five) pages of poetry. This gives us better perspective of your authorial style and creative concept.
Prose (Fiction & Non)
Prose submissions must be no longer than 15 pages, unless for excerpt consideration (per se, a novel). The amount of space in our printed issues is limited. Submitted pieces longer than fifteen pages, double-spaced, will likely not appear in their entirety in one of our issues.
We do consider long-form prose for printing in multiple-issue installments.

Local music coverage in the Litribune has a new format! The staff of Vertigo Music in Grand Rapids and a handful of WIDR DJs will print news and music picks in our monthly issues. Want to write about music? We’re not really interested in music criticism, we’re interested in music journalism. We’re looking for articles about your experiences with local music. It’s simple, go to local shows, write about them. Focus more on the experience of the music and the environment than whether you can come up with a host of obfuscating adjectives and pretentious “derivative” witticisms. If the music is bad, don’t write about it! You can contact the Editor, Aaron Geer, with questions & submissions. If you’re a musician or a band, we’re always looking for great music to book for our events. Contact Dan Climie at 616-540-3521.2 Comments»
When will the results of the Spring issue be announced?
Thanks,
